well.
The
place I am talking about is “Pharwala fort” yes it is the historical,
mysterious, hidden, unseen and amazing fort which have many stories in it about
their civilization. No one knows about the background and history of the great
fort, will tell you later about it. This fort is built at the site of Swan River
which was the source of water and also defending fort from front side. The fort
is built on smaller mountain consists of six gates built at best way as during
war food and ammunition can be easily transferable. The fort is located near
Islamabad and Rawalpindi there is no significance of fort due to lack of Govt
interest on those projects.
Access
Pharwala fort is very easy it is round about 40 kilometers from Islamabad if someone
took flights to Islamabad it is nearest place from airport to visit but,
remember there is no road leading towards Pharwala fort you have to visit on
your feet. I suggest that it is not suitable for family because it is too
lonely place specially I recommend not stay there in night especially if you
are with family. The way is from Taramri chowk to Nilore than Chirah chowk than
Lehtaral road and cross the river Swan than take right turn and walk along with
river you will find old building of Pharwala fort.
Background
of Pharwala fort:

attacked by several kings such that Shahabuddin
Ghauri attaecked in 1202 after that Qutubuddin Aybak attack back

thing in 1540. According to historical evidence many times this fort was often
